Senior IOS Game/Simulation Application Programmer

 

Can you create alien civilizations in a distant galaxy, foreboding monster lairs in treasure-filled

dungeons, or white-knuckled warfare simulations? Then we need to hear from you.

New start up application development company is seeking a Senior Game/Simulation Programmer to

help us make all of the above and more.

 

SKILLS NEEDED

Must have proficiencies in IOS app development using Objective C, Swift, SpriteKit, Cocoa and Cocoa Touch.

  • BS Computer Science or relative equivalent experience

  • 2 to 5 years work experience in game/simulation application development or related field is required

  • Solid experience in IOS game structures, user interfaces, game engines, 2D/3D graphic animations, sound effects, timers, databases, and the IOS deployment life-cycle

  • Working knowledge of in-application store purchases, internal reporting, and monthly events.

  • Game industry experience preferred

  • Crazy for games required

  • Provide support to less experienced personnel

  • Strong written, verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to provide samples of work

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs game implementation tasks with according to design specifications. Integrates and enhances 2D and 3D

animations and artwork. Integrates 3D models into gaming structure. Develops, modifies,

debugs, reviews, tests, and documents code. Creates user experience using graphics, sound, music, etc.

Works closely with the artists and software engineers to choreograph game play from original

concepts. Continues to grow abilities on current multimedia techniques, trends, styles, etc. Analyzes, develops,

and recommends design approaches while working on critical engineering problems/projects. Ensures

product conforms to design specifications.

 

Current position is an hourly, project-based, remote position which can become full-time.
